London gallery to host Haileybury art event

London’s Broad Gallery has kindly offered to host a Haileybury event on the evening of 16 March 2012.

The gallery will be displaying artwork from this year’s art competition winners, alongside famous artists. Pupils whose work will be exhibited include Dalia Frontini, Cristina Martinez- Iborra, Toka Yessimova, Katie Gard, Jordan Carter, Alice Billings, Jona Doda and Samrita Mudher.

The event is free to attend but there are only 10 places left (as at 28 February) so do please book your place by contacting the Development Office by emailing Helen Tranter or telephoning 01992 706 239.

The format for the evening is a cocktail party starting from 18.30 until 21.00. The dress code is lounge suit.

Artwork is for sale on the evening and proceeds are being donated to the Schools Fundraising efforts, including the Astroturf appeal and the Attlee Fund for bursaries. The Broad Gallery will also donate a work of art, valued at £1,000, as a raffle item.
