How to Apply
Haileybury is an academically selective school, with entry at 11+ (Year 7), 13+ (Year 9) and 16+ (Year 12). We also take pupils into Year 8 and Year 10 where space allows.
The general entrance procedure involves four main stages.
Stage 1 – Visit Haileybury
Families are warmly invited to visit the School. You can attend one of our Open Days or make an individual appointment during term time.
Stage 2 – Registration
To register your child you will need to complete the Registration Form and pay a non-refundable Registration Fee of £100 and submit a copy of your child’s passport and most recent school report.
On receipt of the necessary documentation and payment, we will place your child’s name on our entry list which will ensure that they will be considered as a candidate to Haileybury.
Stage 3 – Entrance Assessment
All registered candidates will be invited to sit our entrance examination tests and have an interview at Haileybury.
As part of the procedure, we will request a reference from your child’s current school.
Stage 4 – The Offer
Successful candidates will be offered a place and asked to secure the place with an Acceptance Deposit.
