77th Madrigals Concert a summer solstice success
The Haileybury Madrigal Society and Chamber Choir performed in the 77th annual Madrigals Concert last month to raise funds for Isabel Hospice.
The open air concert was held at Amwell Pool in Great Amwell on the Friday closest to the summer solstice.
The sun did eventually come out and the choirs sang beautifully against the pretty backdrop of trees and water.
The performance raised vital funds for the hospice, which cares for adults with a life-limiting illness across eastern Hertfordshire.
We are already looking forward to next year’s concert!
