16+ Lower Sixth (Year 12)
Applicants are welcome to apply for entry to the Haileybury Sixth Form to study either for A levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.
Upon initial enquiry, applicants are requested to provide a school report to the Admissions Department. If the report meets our minimum entrance criteria of six GCSE Level 6’s or equivalent, successful candidates are then invited to register and visit Haileybury. Entry is by competitive examination using Haileybury’s own examinations which are taken at school in November of the year prior to entry.
International applicants should sit a UKiset test to assess their level of functional English ahead of the Entrance Examinations.
The Sixth Form Admissions process will consist of the following:
- Compulsory written Maths and English papers
- Free-choice paper. Choose one paper from a selection of subjects listed below. The choice should reflect the strengths of the pupil
- Online cognitive abilities test. These tests let us understand the learning profile of the boys and girls and test their academic potential
- Interview
