Candidates are welcome to apply for entry to the Haileybury Sixth Form to study either for A levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.
Upon initial enquiry, candidates are requested to provide a school report to the Admissions Department. If the report meets our minimum entrance criteria of six GCSE Level 6’s or equivalent, successful candidates are then invited to register and visit Haileybury. Entry is by competitive examination using Haileybury’s own examinations which are taken at school in November of the year prior to entry.
International students should sit a UKiset test to assess their level of functional English ahead of the Entrance Examinations.
The Admissions process will consist of the following:
Verbal and non-verbal reasoning tests
A choice of two academic subject papers*
Interviews with senior staff at Haileybury
*Pupils wishing to study Mathematics at either A level or Higher Level for the IB must select Mathematics as one of their two academic subject papers.
