Haileybury College invites applications from members of the clergy with an interest in joining its Governing Body.

Established in 1862, Haileybury is a leading British co-educational independent school which offers modern boarding and day provision for pupils aged 11-18 in accordance with its Christian ethos. The College’s Anglican values date back to its foundation and sit at the heart of its educational philosophy.

The College is situated on a beautiful 500-acre campus in Hertfordshire, just 20 miles north of London. A recent Independent Schools Inspectorate inspection recognised Haileybury’s academic and co-curricular enrichment programme as a significant strength, and in 2024, Haileybury was also named Boarding School of the Year at the Tes School Awards. This is an opportune time to join the Governing Body, working alongside a strong, committed Council and experienced leadership team, as Haileybury takes forward the priorities set out in Haileybury 2030, a five-year plan shaping the School’s future.

Haileybury is strongly committed to diversity and inclusion and to ensuring that its Governing Body reflects a broad range of perspectives and experience. We encourage applications from candidates with a wide range of backgrounds to enrich our collective knowledge and experience.

To apply for the above position, please complete the application form in full and return it to hr@haileybury.com by Wednesday 11 March 2026.

For more information on the role, please contact clerktogovernors@haileybury.com or call 01992 706212.
