We have an opening for an enthusiastic HR Officer to join us in this full generalist role; this is a great opportunity for an experienced and competent professional looking to take the next step in their HR career.

The HR Officer will have responsibility for supporting the HR Manager on projects and by overseeing the day-to-day operation of the HR function; improving, streamlining and delivering an effective HR service for Haileybury UK and our International Partnership Schools.

The successful candidate will have full and varied, end-to-end experience as a HR generalist and demonstrable experience in an advisory capacity and supporting HR projects. They will be a natural self-starter with a track record of delivering within a commercial environment. Strong initiative and ability to manage a number of tasks simultaneously, with accuracy and efficiency, is a must in this busy, multi-disciplined organisation.

The post involves working 37.5 hours per week (30 hours or more would be considered), throughout the year (52 weeks). The nature of a 24hr a day, 7 days per week boarding school requires staff to work flexibly and there may be a requirement for the jobholder to work reasonable additional hours where necessary
