Our Charity Work
We give pupils of all ages the opportunity to create, administrate and lead fundraising projects to enhance their awareness of those less fortunate than themselves.
Charity Committee
Haileybury’s pupil Charity Committee meets once a week, chaired by two Charity Prefects and has at least one representative from each House. Any young philanthropist is welcome to join.
Pupil initiatives
The Committee runs an active schedule of events including a Charity Ball in January, regular doughnut sales, non-uniform days, teacher vs pupils competitions and quizzes – all are pupil initiatives.
Whether it is roses for Valentine’s Day or candy canes at Christmas, the pupils are keen to find every opportunity to help generate more funds for Haileybury’s chosen charities.
In 2015/16, Haileybury’s Charity Committee raised £32,000 for Action For Kids, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Haileybury Youth Trust.
Give to charities while you shop
