An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and passionate teacher to join the Mathematics Department at Haileybury.
Mathematics is a core subject at GCSE. In the Sixth Form, we offer A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, as well as both IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches and Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation. Pupils engage in a rich co-curricular programme, including the Haileybury Maths Society, the Oxbridge Maths Group, and national competitions such as the UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject and be able to teach up to Sixth Form. Prior experience with GCSE, A Level and/or IB is an advantage but not essential. A commitment to creative, responsive teaching, the use of digital tools, and the ability to inspire, stretch and support pupils of all abilities is essential.
The role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for a supportive and stimulating first post, or an experienced educator seeking a fresh challenge in an academically ambitious and forward-thinking environment.
