Haileybury is seeking to appoint an inspirational and committed Peripatetic – Teacher of Singing.
Role
The successful candidate will play an active role in the School’s busy programme of ensembles, performances, and concerts, and will be confident teaching pupils across a wide range of musical styles, from classical to musical theatre.They will maintain the Department’s high standards by demonstrating a dynamic approach to music and inspiring pupils with a love of the subject.
The post-holder will hold a degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification relevant to the role. They will have excellent knowledge of repertoire across classical, contemporary, and musical theatre styles, as well as experience in teaching, including familiarity with exam board requirements for grades and diploma qualifications.
This is a temporary contract to provide cover for a period of leave. It is anticipated that the post-holder will be required for hours totalling 1.5 days per week during term time. This may include early mornings, late evenings and weekends, as required by pupil schedules..
