Haileybury is seeking to appoint a proactive, organised, and highly professional Personal Assistant (PA) to Deputy Master to provide full and confidential administrative support and, where required, to other members of the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams.
Role
The successful candidate will manage the Deputy Master’s diary, handle sensitive correspondence, liaise with staff, parents and governors, support with the preparation of reports, and contribute to the coordination of major school events.
The post-holder will be highly organised and make appropriate decisions using their own initiative. In addition, they will be a team player and will liaise effectively with other members of staff, assisting in other areas of the School when required.
The role demands discretion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Deputy Master and under the supervision of the Executive Assistant to the Master, you will also collaborate across departments to ensure the smooth running of the senior offices.
The successful applicant will work 37.5 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year (term-time plus 5 weeks), 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
