Haileybury is seeking to appoint a Fitness/Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Role
Sport is integral to life at Haileybury and we encourage sporting excellence on both an individual and a team level. At the same time, we strongly foster a “sport for all” mentality throughout the School and all our pupils participate in our sporting curriculum.
Haileybury have a history of producing players who go to perform at an elite level, and currently have 70 representative players within the current pupil body, including several at international age group level in: England Rugby, England Hockey, England Lacrosse, England Netball and England Schools Cricket.
The role will involve delivering Strength and Conditioning services to Haileybury pupils, aged 11-18, across the spectrum of sporting ability. The work will be situated across the all-pupil fitness suite, physiotherapy suite and the Athletic Development Centre.
It is essential that the post-holder has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, plus experience and confidence in delivering fitness based coaching programmes.
Working across this sporting remit will require working flexible hours in line with pupils’ school and sporting schedule, this may include early morning, evening and weekend work.
