The school is looking for a dynamic and committed teacher to teach from Lower School 1 through to the Upper Sixth. The post holder will be expected to use a variety of teaching methods across the full scope of the students, including teaching GCSE, A Level and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.
The applicant will be educated to a degree level with a relevant Science subject and will have experience of teaching at GCSE & A Level. They will ideally have an interest in fostering a varied approach to learning; be open to using digital tools in teaching and learning, and have a familiarity with Google Workspace.
It is an exciting time to join the Biology department at Haileybury as from September 2023 there will be a new Biology building as part of our SciTech plan, of which more information can be found here.

The nature of a 24 hour a day, 7 days per week boarding school requires staff to work flexibly and as the School is used by pupils at weekends, which are also the time most parents visit the School, there will be a requirement for the job holder to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
