Annual Giving Appeal

About Haileybury

Make a meaningful impact by giving to our annual projects.

Now in its third year, the Annual Giving Appeal 2023/24 is a way for our School to raise philanthropic income to realise small projects that have a big impact on pupils’ learning experience. This year’s projects have been selected for their ability to be quickly implemented once funded, meaning each listed project can be in place by the following academic year.

Outdoor Education

Building on an area adjacent to Hailey Wood, we plan to develop dedicated facilities for outdoor education and adventure training. With your support we will look to installing areas for outdoor cooking and teaching, assault course equipment, and a camp fire pit with wooden seating.

Observatory

To enhance our Astrophysics pathway to Removes (Year 9) we plan to extend courses into Middles (Year 10) and to offer an Astronomy club for all pupils. Through giving, we hope to fund a observatory outfitted with a telescope.

Sustainability Wishlist

In order to support our School’s commitment to sustainability and becoming carbon neutral, we need to secure further support to provide a range of equipment. Please consider supporting our goal of securing LED astro lights, a composter and a recycling bin system for the whole school.

Sports Wishlist

We have a range of equipment that we would like to purchase to further enhance our offer to pupils, ensuring every opportunity for improvement, including indoor electronic scoreboard, benches, and a DSLR camera.

Lighting Desk Appeal

Lighting is hugely important for theatre, having a major influence on the mood of a scene and the audience experience. Currently, our lighting desk is no longer fit for purpose and we need to secure support to be able to purchase a new desk.

Hearts & Wings

This year, we will welcome 20 young people with disabilities and 30 volunteers for our Hearts & Wings Holidays, a memorable event and crucial respite for parents and carers. Help us make this event a success.

Haileybury Youth Trust

HYT trains young Ugandans and refugees in climate-friendly construction and builds schools, homes and water tanks. Your gift will help bring clean water to schools in some of Africa’s largest refugee settlements and give Ugandans building skills, employment and an income.

It is only through secured philanthropic support that we will be able to make these projects a reality.
