Lower School Curriculum
The Lower School Curriculum is about flexibility and choice in a progressive context; they are encouraged to follow their personalised pathways.
Our Lower School Curriculum will provide a foundational learning framework for all of our pupils. In these important years, our girls and boys will build core knowledge and skills within disciplines, will learn to think and will learn to learn.
The integrity of subjects will be protected and departments will have the freedom to organise and structure learning within their subject areas as they see fit. However, at the core of all subjects will lie reading and literacy, oracy and talk, and independence and reflection, as defined through the competencies.
