Inspection Report

We celebrate an outstanding inspection report: all standards met and our academic and enrichment programme recognised as a ‘significant strength’

Pupils at Haileybury have been praised in their recent inspection. Visited by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in October 2025, Haileybury met all standards in relation to the inspection framework. We are particularly pleased that Haileybury’s academic and co-curricular enrichment programme was recognised as a significant strength. Receiving this plaudit from the inspectors is testimony to the quality of Haileybury’s provision and the opportunities that our pupils enjoy.

The categories cover every aspect of school life; quality of education, pastoral care, wellbeing, extra-curricular opportunities, personal development of pupils, provision of accommodation, health and safety, governance and leadership.

In particular the inspection lauded the pupils themselves, saying “pupils are motivated learners who engage productively with academic challenge.”

Inspectors also praised the quality of teaching and leadership by noting that “The school’s ethos centres around the values of respect, inclusion and mutual understanding.”

The report identified that “Pupils demonstrate ambition, confidence and resilience.”
