Haileybury archivist launches new book
A new book by Haileybury’s archivist, Andrew Hambling, has been launched to mark the bicentenary of the foundation of the East India College.
Entitled "The East India College at Haileybury – 1806-1857", this fascinating account contains dozens of photos, drawings and other illustrations from the Haileybury Archives and elsewhere.
The well-researched volume, rich with treasures discovered in the Archives and in personal collections, puts the spotlight on a busy half century of Haileybury’s story.
