Good start to lacrosse season

Haileybury’s 2003-2004 lacrosse season got off to a strong start last Saturday with both the 1st and 2nd teams setting tough precedents against St. Margaret’s.

The 1st team recorded a decisive victory of 16 to nil, with rookie point Katy Barker making her presence felt on the defensive end.

The 2nd squad put together an impressive comeback in the second half but the final score was 5-9 despite their efforts. Match captain Shannon Gregory was impressively fierce on both her attack and defence.
