From Zorbing to sushi school, pupils can't wait for the weekend

Pupils are gearing up for some action-packed weekends with exciting activities such as ice sculpting and sushi school on the horizon.

Already this term, pupils have enjoyed evening BBQs, quiz nights and Zorbing as part of the school’s comprehensive activity programme.

Upcoming sessions – which take place on Saturdays and Sundays – include crazy golf, laser tag and an open-air film night.

“Activities and events are key to keeping the morale of pupils high and to maintain social relations between all the houses of the school,” said Gian Pietro, who is one of this year’s Activities and Events Prefects.

“There are priceless advantages in taking part in activities. They give us the opportunity to spend free time outside, have fun and create new friendships.”

Pupils can sign up for weekend activities each week using the form which is circulated via email by Miss Sparrow.

“I think all pupils should sign up for as many activities as they want to as they are a great way to meet new people – especially in these times of isolation and distance,” said Caitlin, who is also an Activities and Events Prefect.

Charlotte, who makes up the team of Activities and Events Prefects, added: “The events and activities will work as a source of excitement, whilst simultaneously enhancing your initiative and creativity, delving into things you may have never done before.”
