Exam Results and League Tables

This year we have again taken the decision not to publish our results in the league tables adopted by some sections of the media. We are very proud of our extra-curricular activities and our levels of pastoral care, two of the many aspects of life at Haileybury, which are not measured by such simplistic methods.

League tables, we feel, simply measure a school’s degree of selectivity, rather than its quality. In addition, there is no clear way of comparing International Baccalaureate qualifications with A-level results. Each publication uses a different formula, giving vague results and inconsistent placings.

Having said that, we are very proud of our examination results. Parents and other interested parties are very welcome to view them online where they will be displayed as soon as they are available.
