Haileybury is delighted to present Legally Blonde the Musical.

Legally Blonde is a high-energy, contemporary smash-hit that tells the inspiring story of Elle Woods. A seemingly frivolous sorority girl, Elle follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School to win him back, only to discover her own intellect, passion, and true potential.

The show features uplifting themes of female empowerment, breaking stereotypes, and self-belief which resonate with the pupils and with modern audiences. Crucially, the narrative cleverly pokes fun at the shallow prejudices and stereotypes with which society often labels people, encouraging an important conversation about tolerance, inclusion, and acceptance. Legally Blonde boasts significant previous success, including seven Tony Award nominations and the prestigious Olivier Award for Best New Musical in London. Despite being almost twenty years old, the show’s popularity remains incredibly high, making it exciting prospect for our talented Haileybury pupils: challenging yet rewarding and a sure-fire hit with audiences. The score is packed with catchy, show-stopping numbers, hilarious sequences and supported by professional set, props and costume design, we are delighted to be returning to BEAM again this year for our next big hit.
