Celebration of the Life of Nick Gandon

We warmly invite all who knew and loved Nick to join us in celebrating his life on

Saturday 25 October 2025 from 11.30 am – 2.30 pm.
Service: 11.30 am – 12.30 pm in Chapel
Location: Haileybury, Hertford, SG13 7NU
Refreshments: Buffet lunch following the service

Unlike the smaller, invitation-only funeral earlier this year, this gathering is open to everyone who wishes to honour Nick – friends, former colleagues, teammates, and all who shared in his passions and values.

In honour of Nick’s commitment to creating opportunities for young people through sport, there will be a collection for All to Play For (formerly the Gandon Prodger Legacy Fund), a fund set up in Nick’s name and that of his good friend Simon Prodger. One of its first initiatives, Pass the Bat On, invites attendees to bring old or unused cricket bats for refurbishment and resale at affordable prices – helping to reduce barriers to participation. If you have a bat to donate, we would love for you to bring it on the day.
