The annual Academic Exhibition Fair celebrates the wealth of academic research undertaken by Haileybury pupils from Lower School 1 through to the Sixth Form. This year’s exhibition showcases a record number of entries demonstrating the breadth, depth and ambition of academic curiosity across the school.
The afternoon fair offers over 80 pupils the opportunity to exhibit their research projects spanning a remarkable range of disciplines and topics including conservation, ancient democracy, economic and cultural development, astrophysics, artificial intelligence and much more.
This evening event, a series of six Spotlight Talks, will be given by selected pupils in the Ayckbourn Theatre and will explore an extraordinary range of ideas: from the rise and fall of Islamic Spain and the future of the UK’s global influence, to the hidden role of cryptology in modern life and the impact of conversational culture on social integration. From emerging young researchers from the Lower School to those undertaking more advanced academic enquiry in the Sixth Form, pupils will present to an audience of family, friends, staff and invited guests, sharing their insights and discoveries.
While the afternoon fair is open to all parents, tickets are required for the evening Spotlight Talks.
