Bishop's Award for Alice
Removes pupil Alice Clough recently obtained her Bishop’s Award from the Royal School of Church Music. This is one of the highest levels of achievement for dedicated church choristers.
Alice began the Voice for Life courses when she was eight and her next ambition is to obtain the Gold Award which she plans to do in a couple of years’ time.
She was the first person in her home choir to do the Deans and Bishops awards and being part of the Haileybury Chapel Choir means she has plenty of opportunity to practise.
Says the Director of Music at Haileybury, Peter Davis: "Alice is to be congratulated on this achievement, and it is wonderful to have such a dedicated chorister in our Chapel Choir."
Well done to Alice!
