A Level Results

Once again, our pupils are celebrating an outstanding set of results.

After excellent IB results earlier in the summer, the A level cohort are also celebrating an excellent set of outcomes, with a significant proportion securing the highest possible grades. A standout group achieved a clean sweep of top marks, while over a quarter of all pupils secured straight A*/A grades. When combined with our strong IB results, 59% of all grades at Haileybury were at A*-A and 87% at A*-B (or equivalent).

Places have been secured at many of the UK’s best universities such as Oxford, Edinburgh, Durham, Imperial and LSE with global destinations such as Bocconi, Cornell and Sciences Po also featuring.

Pupils have also earned places on leading Degree Apprenticeships at Airbus and BAE Systems.

Commenting on this year’s results and leavers’ destinations, Eugene du Toit, Master of Haileybury, said:

“We are immensely proud of our Sixth Form pupils and delighted that their hard work has been rewarded. However, their achievements would not have been possible without inspiring teaching and the dedication of all those who offered guidance, encouragement, challenge and support.

We wish all of our leavers the very best of luck for their exciting next steps.”

I have loved my time at Haileybury over the past 5 years, and the school has given me so many memories and friendships that will last forever. I am grateful for all the support my teachers have given me and am pleased with my results. I now look forward to playing D1 Rugby and studying business at Syracuse University in the USA.

My time at Haileybury is a journey which I feel so fortunate to have experienced. The endless support from my teachers and the wider school community has helped me achieve grades which I am delighted with. I am looking forward to starting my degree in France at Sciences Po Paris.

I’m incredibly grateful for the time I’ve spent at Haileybury and the support I’ve received from my teachers and friends these last four years. Alongside offering me guidance on my subjects and university choices, they have pushed me to always be curious and to achieve the grades I needed to study Physics at Durham. I will miss Haileybury but can’t wait for the next chapter!

Haileybury has been such an amazing experience and supported me throughout my sporting and academic journey. This helped me achieve a scholarship to go to America to play lacrosse. I have made friends for life and will forever be grateful for everything that this school has given me.

I feel immensely fortunate to have spent these past six years at Haileybury. I owe a massive thank you to my teachers whose unconditional support was a significant factor into the results I achieved. The memories and friendships that Haileybury has given me will last a lifetime and I will always look back on my time at Haileybury with gratitude. Haileybury for me became like a second home after 7 years of school there. I made life long friends in my house; my sports teams; and around campus. I felt supported by my teachers and other staff members yet they pushed me to thrive and be the best student and person I could be. I’m off to Birmingham next year to study Aerospace engineering and play hockey.
