Physics
At GCSE level, pupils learn about a wide range of physics concepts and ideas, as well as some of the guiding principles that enable the accurate description and prediction of the universe.
The language of physics is mathematics, thus mathematical and problem solving skills are developed extensively here and applied to both familiar and unfamiliar situations. The role of physics is also emphasised in terms of its social, economic and environmental importance.
Physics is offered as GCSE, A level and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses.
