| Treasurer Tracey Hopton hpa-t.hopton@haileybury.com I live in Hertford with my husband Cameron and our two children James and Freya. Freya is in Year 6 at Duncombe, and our son, James Mitchell, is a day pupil in Lower Sixth in Bartle Frere. He has been at Haileybury since Lower School 1. James is a passionate cricketer, and we can often be found at a cricket ground somewhere in the country! I enjoy spending time with friends, travelling, reading and attempting to play a bit of tennis. I get up very early three mornings a week to attend a boot camp in Hertford which I love, in all weathers. I also manage James’ county cricket team, which gets particularly busy during the summer months. | |

| Joanna Costin hpa-j.costin@haileybury.com My two daughters started Haileybury in Lower School, with Jemima now in Upper Sixth and totally loving school life, especially drama, dance and hockey. Molly moves into Fifths this year, following her sister into Hailey – she is my musical one, and a footballer and cricketer, so being nearer both the Music and Sports buildings will save me on school shoes! We live in central St Albans, and the girls have both boarded for periods, but currently get the bus to school every morning. I work full time in Banking, commuting into the City a lot less than I did before Covid. In my Parents’ Representative role, I am really keen that parents feel engaged with the school, socially and pastorally, and having previously performed Parents’ Rep roles at prep school, I have enjoyed arranging socials, a school ball and raising money for charity. |
| Irene Lee hpa-i.lee@haileybury.com I have two children, Keira in Middles and Ruby in Year 6 at Heath Mount. We live in Southgate, North London with our two cats and two rabbits. I enjoy reading, travelling and spending time with family and friends over good food and wine! I am looking forward to another year with the HPA and the Haileybury community. | |
Kipling: | |
|
| Sam Wright hpa-s.wright@haileybury.com We relocated internationally after nearly a decade away from the UK and settled near Hertingfordbury, where I live with my husband, Rich, when he is in the UK, and my two children. Our eldest, Ed, is currently in Lower Sixth (Kipling) and my youngest, Olly, is in Middles (Kipling). I used to work within R&D in the pharmaceutical sector and now I run my own business, whilst getting the daily steps in with the dog and providing an excellent Uber service to busy sporting/social lives. I look forward to continuing to support Kipling and the HPA. |
Lawrence: | |
|
| Deborah Hurd Hpa-d.hurd@haileybury.com We relocated from Singapore in 2017 after 11 years away from the UK and we have just moved to Hertford, where I live with my husband, Chris and our three children. Our eldest daughter, Emilia, has just graduated and started her first job, Oliver was in Kipling but has just started at the University of Edinburgh, and Ella is in Lower Sixth in Lawrence. Both my younger children started at Haileybury in Lower School. I am looking forward to another year on the HPA and being more involved with the Lawrence community. |

I am an OH, used to work at Haileybury and grew up at the school as my father was a Housemaster. It is lovely to return to the school as a parent and be part of a vibrant parents’ association as well as a wonderful community. I’m looking forward to getting to know many other parents and enjoying spending time together with our children. | |
| Holly Clark hpa-h.clark@haileybury.com My son Jagger will started in LS1 in September and we live just round the corner from Haileybury which is incredibly convenient. I work for The LEGO group at their head office which is based in London, although Jagger still takes great pleasure in telling people I work at the theme park!! I am a Restructuring and Insolvency lawyer currently working in the Restructuring team at NatWest and Dan runs his own Executive Search firm. Max and Jodie have been day pupils at Haileybury since starting in Lower School and both love school life. With so much to get involved in outside of their academics whether sports, drama, music or house activities there is never a dull moment for either of them. We all feel very lucky to be a part of the fantastic Haileybury family and really appreciate the importance of creating a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for all pupils and parents in order to maintain the wonderful “family” feel. I hope my role as a HPA rep will give me the opportunity to be more actively involved with parents and their children to help maintain and develop the Haileybury family through interactions and social activities. | |

![]() | Fiona Hedges hpa-f.hedges@haileybury.com Former property fund manager and chartered surveyor, turned CEO of Hedges Enterprises (staff includes one husband, three energetic boys, and a perpetually muddy dog). After leaving London 11 years ago, we settled in Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire. When not juggling work and family life, I can be found rowing at Marlow Rowing Club, playing tennis, skiing, or getting lost in the Chiltern Hills. Jack and Johnny are happily ensconced in Trevelyan House Family; their younger brother Freddie is at Davenies prep school. Alongside Mr Wilson, his team, and Steph (my fellow house rep), I’m here to help welcome you to the house and help you make the most of school life and HPA fun! |
