Haileybury is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Fitness / Strength and Conditioning Coach to support the physical development of pupils aged 11–18 across all levels of sporting participation – from beginners to national-level athletes.

Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious sports programme within a leading independent school environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing athletic performance, supporting injury prevention, and promoting lifelong health and wellbeing among pupils. In addition to supporting competitive athletes, the successful candidate will help pupils develop healthy fitness habits, manage stress effectively, and improve overall wellbeing and academic performance through individual and small-group conditioning programmes.

The role is term-time based and will involve approximately 40+ hours per week, together with seven additional days during school holidays. Working hours will be agreed in consultation with the Director of Sport and will include early mornings, evenings, and some weekend commitments.

Please see the candidate brief for further information.
