RAF Cadet Ella appointed as Hertfordshire Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet
We are delighted to share the outstanding achievement of RAF Cadet Ella (Upper Sixth), who has been formally appointed as the Hertfordshire Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet – a role of considerable honour and responsibility.
At her investiture ceremony yesterday, Ella was recognised for her exceptional dedication, discipline and service to both Haileybury and the wider community. The appointment reflects the values she has consistently demonstrated through her commitment to the RAF Section of the Combined Cadet Force.
The Lord Lieutenant acts as His Majesty the King’s personal representative in the county, and the appointment of a Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet is one of the highest distinctions a young person can receive in recognition of their service. Over the coming year, Ella will accompany the Lord Lieutenant at key civic and ceremonial events across Hertfordshire, proudly representing the Crown, Haileybury and the youth of the county.
This remarkable appointment is a testament to Ella’s character and hard work, and we are incredibly proud that she will serve in this distinguished role.
