Foundation Day 2025
Yesterday we were delighted to welcome back Old Haileyburians, their families and friends to celebrate the special relationship between the School and our alumni community. The day began with coffee before Chapel, followed by guided House tours, an Archives talk in the newly refurbished Library and the chance to wander through the campus and reconnect with familiar spaces.
During lunch on Pavilion, guests heard speeches from the Master, the Chairman of Haileybury, and the President of the Haileybury Society. Their words celebrated Haileybury, highlighted recent achievements and shared hopes for the strength and future of our community.
Sport added to the celebrations with memorable contests across the grounds. Football ended 2–2 before the OHs lifted the Lyttelton Cup on penalties, cricket saw the 1st XI chase 245 to win by seven wickets, and the girls’ hockey and lacrosse teams secured impressive victories.
It was a day filled with friendship, laughter, and connection – a wonderful reminder of the enduring bonds that link Haileyburians across generations, and a celebration of all that makes our community so special.
