Teacher of Mathematics

Teacher of Mathematics

Permanent, Full-Time, Term-Time

Closing Date: 21 February 2023, midday.

Start Date: September 2023

An opportunity has arisen to join an outstanding Mathematics department. The post would suit either a ECT seeking a first post or a more experienced teacher looking for a new challenge within an intellectually stimulating environment. All teachers are expected to play a full part in the wider co-curricular life of the school.

The school is looking for a dynamic and committed teacher to teach from Lower School 1 (Year 7) through to the Upper Sixth. The post holder will be expected to use a variety of teaching methods across the full scope of the students, including teaching GCSE, A Level and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.

The applicant will ideally have an interest in fostering a varied approach to learning; be open to using digital tools in teaching and learning and have a familiarity with Google Workspace.

We strive to ensure that our staff body reflects the diversity of our pupil body. We therefore encourage candidates from ethnically diverse backgrounds.

The nature of a 24 hour a day, 7 days per week boarding school requires staff to work flexibly and as the School is used by pupils at weekends, which are also the time most parents visit the School, there will be a requirement for the post-holder to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.

For more information please see the attached candidate brief.
