U18 Hockey girls through to next round of National Cup

Our U18 girls’s hockey team won 3-2 against Queenswood last Tuesday, in round one of the National Cup.

Being a first match after half term, this was a thrilling and grinding encounter against Queenswood.

The girls took a little while to find their rhythm and it is the sign of real character when not playing at their fluent best that they managed to stick to the processes and brought the game to a successful conclusion.

Beth D scored twice to take her top of the all-time scoring list, which is an extraordinary achievement for our captain. Congratulations Beth!

Scarlett S also netted a lovely goal, which secured the team’s well-deserved 3-2 win to head into the next round of the national cup.
