Sir Hugh Orde to visit Haileybury
We are delighted to confirm that Sir Hugh Orde will be visiting Haileybury on Thursday, 23 February at 7.30pm in Big School to present a lecture on 'Britain after the riots: where should policing go from here?' His visit forms part of Haileybury's 150th anniversary lecture series.
Sir Hugh was awarded an OBE in 2001 for services to policing, and in 2005 was knighted for his work. In 2008 he was awarded the annual Leadership Award from the Police Executive Research Forum recognising his work in changing policing in Northern Ireland following the Good Friday Agreement in 1998.
So that we may gauge the number of people who would like to attend the talk, we would be very grateful if tickets could be booked using the above-mentioned link or by calling the Box Office on 01992 706229.
