Rugby Winners

Congratulations to our Senior Sevens Squad who won the Middlesex Schools Sevens Tournament on Sunday 10th March. In their Pool matches they beat Bedford Modern 19-14, and St. Benedict’s, Ealing (last year’s winners) 35-10. In the Quarter final they beat Latymer Upper School 21-10, before beating Hampton, reputedly one of the strongest Sevens teams in the London area, in a closely-fought semi final; 19-10. The final was against Eton and proved to be another close encounter resulting in a 12-7 win. The Squad have played in two other Sevens tournaments recently – they reached the semi-final at Windsor on 2nd March – and on 13th March they played in the Surrey Invitation Tournament where, having won their group they were beaten by Sherborne in the Knock-out stages.
