Rotary Tournament Winners

Mark Wisbey (Tr), Mohammed Maibe (BF), Kevin Dickens (Th) and David Gregory (BF) were winners of the local Rotary Club Technology Tournament for 2003.

In a competition that involved 34 teams from local schools the team successfully completed a complicated challenge in the fastest time. Their brief was to design a mobile crane that was capable of being driven forwards under a low bridge, retrieving a small object from a container and returning it to the starting point. The day involved producing designs and plans and then constructing the device from a limited selection of components.
