Josie wins French prize
Congratulations to Haileybury pupil, Josie Chubb, whose translation of Pierre Reverdy’s "Son de Cloche" has won Matthew Spender’s prize from the Stephen Spender Memorial Trust for the best translation of someone aged 14 and under.
Josie will collect her prize at a special function in London tonight.
