Hockey victory over Queenswood
In a battle of Hertfordshire’s top hockey schools, Haileybury convincingly beat Queenswood last week.
The 1st team won 3-1, with goals by Amber Banbury and Molly Pallett who also hit the bar in another attempt. Ashley Coe put another ball wide with two minutes to go, so the score could have been even more convincing, according to coach, Ian Sanders.
The 2nd team had just as much success, winning 3-1 – goals by Jenna Woods and Nicola Cawley – while the U15s won 2-0.
Well done to all players.
