Football team win through in national contest
Haileybury today beat Highgate 3-1 in the second round of the National Independent Schools Football Association Cup in a match played on Quitchells.
Goals were scored by Sam Thurgood, Sam Anthony & Abdul Wushishi.
Previous players to have played in the competition include Quintune Fortune (Forest), Frank Lampard (Brentwood) and James Beattie (QEGS Blackburn). Lesser known players include Neil Harris, Neil Mellor & Adam Virgo.
