First riding fixture against Kimbolton
Yesterday, a riding team consisting of Katie Stacey, Suzanna Woodcock, Tessa Smyth and Magenta McDougall travelled to Kimbolton School to take part in a riding match.
On arrival we were given four horses to choose from which we shared with the other team. In the first round of showjumping we lost to Kimbolton, but in the second round of dressage, we won with the least number of faults.
The final score unfortunately was 122 faults to Kimbolton, 125 to Haileybury. However, it was a successful day which was thoroughly enjoyed by both teams. Considering this was the first event of this kind, we were very proud of our results.
