First hockey side win 5-0 against King's Ely
Last Saturday saw Haileybury’s hockey teams facing King’s Ely. Even though the girls knew the strength of the Ely side, they played an excellent game, with Molly Pallett scoring a hat trick and Amber Banbury continuing to increase her score tally with another two goals, leaving us with a comfortable 5-0 win.
The second team also played well and gained a 2-0 win, with both goals from Jenna Wood. Milly Baugh and Annie Dale stood out as particularly excellent on the pitch.
The U14s drew 1-1 in a closely fought contest. They played some impressive hockey and were able to withstand the pressure of going 1-0 down to equalise within minutes through a goal by Lauren Wainwright.
An excellent set of results from all the girls.
