Excellent IBDP results

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results for the summer series 2023 were published today. The results of the Haileybury pupils who sat the IBDP examinations are strong and reflect the efforts of a year group that has worked hard and with purpose. The results also reflect the high quality of teaching of the IBDP at the School over the course of the last two years.

The average Haileybury points score this year is currently just a fraction short of 39 with over 30% of our pupils scoring 40 points or higher. The average points score is comparable to that achieved by our pupils in 2022, which is impressive given that, as expected, there has been a significant downward adjustment this year in IBDP grades worldwide and in the UK.

The Master, Martin Collier, commented about the results: “That the IBDP grades are so strong is testament to the ability and diligence of an impressive Upper Sixth cohort. They most certainly deserve credit for their efforts. I would also like to thank the teaching staff who, through their outstanding work, have ensured that our pupils have achieved results which are comparable with those of last year.”
