fbpx Building Progress - Haileybury

The SciTech project is progressing well. We have the building structures in place and the outer brickwork skin is complete. The two ground floor rooms in the current Science building have been completed and this has allowed for the new entrance route to be created. We have finalised the interior loose furniture fit out detail with the teaching teams.

The windows have all been installed and interior plastering and decorating has now started.

Demolition of the current Biology building started in early July and will be completed over the summer.

We are still on track to complete the works during the Autumn term, the exact date will become clearer as we get closer.

Biology and Computing Teaching Building:

Timber frame (CLT) is complete. The fit out works are in progress with heating and electrical first fix completed.

Research Centre:

Internal fit out works are progressing with heating and electrical work completed.

Design Technology (DT) Building:

We have started the internal refurbishment of some of the DT rooms. This work will be completed ready for the start of the Autumn term.

Cloister/External works:

The timber frame for the Cloister is now in place and the installation of the windows and green roof (which goes on top of the Cloister) will start soon. Once the current Biology building has been removed then the landscaping will start.
