Join us for Haileybury’s answer to Strictly Come Dancing – the 2017 Dance Showcase! We can’t promise any grumpy judges, but we can promise a glittering revue of dance performed by talented pupils of all ages. From tap, ballet and street to modern jazz, acrobatics and swing, it is set to be an extravaganza of an evening packed full of songs and surprises. The showcase is planned to take approximately seventy minutes without an interval.

Our melodic Schubertiade series will continue with two more performances in the light and airy setting of the MusicSchool Foyer. These recitals celebrate the famous performances that Franz Schubert and his contemporaries gave in his Vienna home where they gathered to play their latest compositions.

Your eyes do not deceive you - that is the old-fashioned spelling of music in the title of this concert! You are warmly invited to an evening of majestic Baroque concertos in the atmospheric surroundings of our Chapel. Highlights will include Handel’s magnificent Zadok the Priest, which was written for the coronation of King George II in 1727 and has been performed at the coronation service of every British monarch since. Hubert Parry’s I Was Glad is also on the programme, which was composed for the coronation of King Edward VII.

Our Lower School actors and actresses will take to the stage in the Summer Term to perform J M Barrie’s everlasting classic Peter Pan. The story revolves around two boys and a girl who follow Peter Pan and the invisible fairy Tinker Bell into Neverland, where children never grow old and where Captain Hook and his pirates are running riot. Prepare to be whisked away to another world of magic, mischief and make-believe. 

Open to all and tickets will be available from the Box Office in the Spring Term
