Support Haileybury

Welcome

"Our Development Programme is all about providing opportunities - whether that is through bursarial support or by expanding our facilities. In whatever way you choose to support the School, I offer you my warm and sincere thanks."

Nick Gilbert (Tr 96) Chairman of the Development Board and Governor

Welcome

Haileybury is a registered charity and, as an independent school, receives no funding from the Government. This means that fundraising is necessary to preserve and maintain all that is Haileybury.

We raise funds to:

  • Provide bursaries for talented pupils who would not otherwise be able to attend Haileybury, enabling the College to maintain its social mix and academic strength, and to welcome into our community highly able pupils whose families cannot afford to pay all or part of the fees.
  • Maintain and enhance the College’s facilities and grounds by accelerating the building programme at Haileybury. From the College’s founding, our buildings and spaces have existed because of the generosity of alumni and supporters.

We hope you will feel able to contribute, especially if you or your family have benefited from a Haileybury education or simply because you want to help us to continue to offer a first class education to pupils for generations to come.

Whether you make a personal or company donation, one-off or regular gift, a gift in kind or a gift in your Will, you can be confident that your donation will enrich the lives and development of current and future Haileybury pupils and extend a Haileybury education to even more children.

We would be delighted to talk to prospective supporters about how the College can direct and credit a gift. Haileybury respects the wishes of those who would like their gifts to remain anonymous, but wherever possible, we would like to acknowledge your generosity.

To tell you a little bit about me, I have been the Director of Development at Haileybury since April 2017. I was previously the Development Manager at North London Collegiate School and before working in development served for 22 years in the Regimental Band of H.M. Irish Guards as a professional trumpet player.

Please do not hesitate to contact me either by email: g.mann@haileybury.com or phone on 01992 706447.

Thank you.
