Second All-Weather Surface in Action
Our second all-weather surface was completed during the Spring Term, adding to Haileybury’s already extensive sports facilities and allowing us to offer arguably the best hockey facilties in Hertfordshire.
The second all-weather surface (AWS) is adjacent to our original AWS, enabling easy transition between pitches during tournaments and doubling the access our pupils have for both academic and co-curricular sport.
Boys playing in the IAPS U11 Boys’ London and Home Counties Tournament were the first to play on the new pitches when Haileybury hosted 20 prep school teams for this regional event in February.
