1st girls’ hockey: WON 3-1 v Bishops Stortford

The girls’ 1st XI continue their run towards an unbeaten season, beating Bishops Stortford for the second time this season. This time 3-1. Skipper Grace Rawlins, Jade Logue and Georgia Billings all scored in the first half to take a lead into half time. Emily Sanders and Katie Brooking were exemplary at the back in the second half, locking the back door tightly and ensuring another high quality win. Two very tough games now remain, having won all the others, scoring 35 and conceded only 4 in the games so far.  > more

XV Rugby victory v St.John's, Leatherhead

Michael Owen describes the 1st XV victory 32-21 on Saturday as the best performance of the season so far. Alex McCormick's men scored five tries in a cohesive display with Nick Isiekwe and Tobe Rapu performing with immense power and athleticism in the second row.  > more

1st X1 Girls continue unbeaten run

On Saturday, the girls’ 1st XI hockey continue their unbeaten run with a professional 6-0 win over Bedford Modern. The girls have now scored 32 goals and conceded only 3, leaving the likes of Queenswood, Bishops Stortford, Felsted and now BMS in their wake. This was on the back of losing the final of the East of England tournament last Thursday on penalty flicks sudden death!  > more

England Hockey Call up for Lucy and Nick

Lucy Price and Nick Page have both received the call to the England U18 squad to attend the 34 strong final Assessment Camp at Lilleshall this November. Lucy is in L6 and it is her first breakthrough into the England team having been a key Saxon Tiger player for a couple of years. She is one of only two U17s in the entire group. Nick is U6 and maintains his place in the squad having been an integral part of things last year. Many congratulations to both.  > more
