Two hockey wins for Lower School against Queenswood

Another wonderful afternoon for Haileybury hockey with some fantastic results against Queenswood. Our Lower School 2 (LS2) A team won 6-3, with Lizzie Alliott named as player of the match. The game was great to watch and got everyone's hearts going! The girls had so many attacking opportunities but they also worked tirelessly in defence. Hockey wins skyrocket at Haileybury as Felsted are beaten

This was the week that the 1st XI hockey came of age, claiming one of the giants of the girls’ hockey circuit, dethroning the East of England finalists Felsted, 2-0, in a game of superlative quality. Emily Sanders and Katie Brooking played as if they were club professionals, herding Felsted attackers expertly away from the danger area before guzzling them for breakfast in the tackle. We are delighted to announce that the new pitches on Hailey Meadow are now complete and available for use. Opening on Saturday 13th September, the pitches will be available throughout the year. Parents and visitors should please note the following: Parking. There is no parking in the vicinity of Hailey Meadow. Limited parking is available adjacent to Hailey Field, with greater space in the area just past the Sixth Form Centre, opposite the Haileybury Social Club. Access. Minister of State Opens Haileybury’s Historic replica WW1 trench

On Monday 8 September Haileybury commemorated the centenary of the First World War with the official opening of a section of a replica trench within its grounds today. At a ceremony attended by Haileybury pupils, alumni and members of the community, the trench was officially opened by the Rt Hon Mark Francois MP, Minister of State for the Armed Forces.
