Rhiannon in World and European Championships

Lower Sixth pupil Rhiannon Massey has been invited to join the GBR team for the Ladies European Championships in September - a senior team, rather than youth level. This follows hot on the heels of her selection for the GBR team attending the Ladies U21 World Championships in Hungary over the summer. Coach Marcus Lynch, who will accompany the U21 team to Hungary, was also coach for the Paralympic ladies who won the Skud18 bronze medal at London 2012 and were World Champions in 2011. Strong Performance at Sevenoaks Athletics 2013

Haileybury boys were able to secure 2nd place overall in the six-school competition at the weekend, involving teams from Hampton, Christ’s Hospital, Sevenoaks, Caterham and Judd. Hailey House raises over £600 for Bobath Centre

Hailey House has raised over £600 for charity with the help of some four-legged friends. The Hailey dog show, organised by Housemistress Mrs Alison Baker in April, along with lots of hard work by the Hailey girls, attracted 42 dogs and their owners as well as plenty of parents, families, staff and pupils. Competitions included an agility course, fastest eater, most tricks, waggiest tail, best veteran, and best young pup. Overall winner and best in show was Simba, a 4year-old South-African Boerbul owned by Leah and Tessa Rosendahl.  > more

Haileybury athletes enjoyed a successful day at the Achilles School Relays yesterday (2 May), a national event involving over 35 schools. The biggest success of the day came in the first event, as our Senior 4 x 110m Hurdles team of Felix Sharman, Paul Zeisler, Eric Chu and Okemdi Chukwu won both their heat and final to take the title, despite a strong comeback on the last leg from Millfield in the final.
