Haileybury GCSE pupils achieve record number of A* grades

More than 30 of Haileybury's GCSE pupils have this year achieved 5 or more A*s, with 63% of the 119 candidates obtaining A*- A grades. This is the largest number of A*s achieved by our pupils to date. Some star performers include Francis Hunt (BFr), who achieved 10 A*s and an A; Jessica Billings (C), Elizabeth Bird (C), Mark Walther (Th) and Benedict Tottman (Tr) with 9 A*s and 2 As; and Henry Bishop (K), Emma Horsburgh (Alb) and Nonye Okoli (C) with 9 A*s and 1A. Haileybury Sixth Form pupils produce 85% A* - B grades

Haileybury's Sixth Formers have turned out the best set of results the school has ever seen, with the percentage of A* - B grades standing at 85.3% - almost 5% better than last year's results and more than 3% higher than the School's previous best - while Haileybury's overall pass rate is 100%. 97.8% of A Level pupils achieved A* - C grades, compared to 93.1% last year. Calling all OH sailors

The Arrow Trophy dates back to 1987 when Old Etonians were exhorted to compete against Old Harrovians in what is now an important annual yachting regatta, attracting more than 20 entries. The Old Haileyburian sailing club has entered a team a number of times over the past six years and even came second in one of the races.
