1st XI v HARROW WON 9-1 This was a majestic display from a 1st XI now finishing the season at full tilt. Our full array of attacking hockey was demonstrated with four wonderfully slickly taken goals knocking the stuffing out of Harrow before even 10 minutes were on the clock. Inevitably, the contest was over at this early juncture and the second half was a masterclass in possession hockey, aiming to catch Harrow on the counter, which we managed a further five times. The front three of King (E), Agass (Th) and Eschenroeder (Th) ran some delightful

There was a tremendous night of soloists battling it out in our Instrumental Competition Final last night - a blissful and sustained display of individual talent throughout - a substantial pleasure. Congratulations to all participants over the evenings of competition - for practising, raising your game and dealing with nerves. Thanks to all supporters (especially those teachers who kept on returning to support again and again), to the accompanists, adjudicators and music teachers, and above all, to Miss Tomsett for putting so

The 2011 House Challenge was hotly contested this year and produced a nail-biting final. The format was altered so that each House would have a round against two other Houses on the same night, then the top four houses overall would go though to the semis. Rounds on heraldry, mathematics and vegetables played their parts, with Thomason having the distinction of both the highest and lowest scores for an individual round (205 and 0). Alas for the girls' Houses, but the semi-finals turned out to be Lawrence v Edmonstone and the local derby
