U15 girls reach county final

Many congratulations to Haileybury's Under 15 Girls AEGON Tennis team who defeated Haberdasher's Askes on Monday to reach the County Final for the first time. It was a close match (3-3 after the singles and doubles) but Elena Hoffman and JJ Billings won the decisive 'Championship tie-break' 10-4. Elena, JJ and Hannah Mullee all won their singles matches 6-1, with Louisa Dubbers-Albrecht (making her debut filling in for the injured Lucy Smith) losing 2-6. Haileybury Week kicks off!

HAILEYBURY WEEK 2010 starts this Thursday, 1 July, with an explosion of diverse events. Everything's free and we invite anyone to attend. Highlights include the Prep Schools' Arts and Events Day on Thursday, which culminates in a performance of the Dragon Cantata and a narrative by Head of English Nigel Park of The Boy Who Never Grew Up. On Friday, we can look forward to Head of Art Jason Marks' Extraordinary Installation and on Sunday, the Performance in the Park (latterly known as Shakespeare in the Park). Tickets  > more

Heath Mount win U11 cricket tournament

Congratulations to the Under 11 cricket team from Heath Mount who won Haileybury's Prep Schools Cricket Challenge last Sunday. Kyle Douglas from Keble Prep in London, was named the best batsman, while Will Garod from Barnardiston Hall in Suffolk received the best bowler award. Well done to all the players!  > more

Haileybury hosts ABF Tattoo

Haileybury will once again host the Military Tattoo in aid of the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) on Sunday, 20 June. This annual event features the Band of the Parachute Regiment, the British Legion Youth Band Brentwood and the Harpenden Pipe Band. The military spectacular takes place in Haileybury renowned Quad. OH Jamie George captains winning England side

Congratulations to OH Jamie George, who yesterday captained the England Under 21 rugby side to victory against France in the IRB Junior World Championships being held in Argentina. George said after the match: "It was a tough game but we always knew it was going to be that against a strong French side; they broke us down well but showing the heart we showed in that game was a massive thing ahead of the semi final and we've got to take confidence from that. Petrol-head Jordan Williams to lead 2k Superhero Toddle

This Saturday, 5 June, the Williams family from Hatfield in Hertfordshire will be getting behind their 12-year-old son who will be leading the inaugural 2k Superhero Toddle in the stunning grounds of Haileybury as part of a spectacular family fun day charity fundraiser in aid of The Muscle Help Foundation (MHF). The event includes a 10k run, a Guinness World Record attempt (three-legged race) multiple venues across UK in partnership with National Family Week, an opportunity to meet 'Sarrie the Camel', the mascot for Saracens Rugby  > more
